Prayer for Comfort
Heavenly Father,
You are the great comforter, the great I AM. Thank you for every promise in your word. Thank you for being my refuge and my fortress in whom I will trust (Psa 91:2).
Thank you for covering me with your feathers and letting me find comfort under your wings (Psa 91:4). I know that You are close to the broken-hearted. I know that You listen to my cries and intercede for me.
Lord I pray for comfort. I pray for peace that surpasses understanding. I pray for knowledge and discernment. Open my eyes, let me see You around me.
Thank you for your word. Thank you for your promises. Thank you for being a rock on which I will stand. Thank you for being my strength when I am weak.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
