Prayer for Feeling Left Out
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for every promise You have given to me. Each one lets me know more about You and what You desire for me.
There are many times when I look for validation from others, but I usually get let down. Help me remember that my validation comes from You. I don’t need others to tell me how great I am, because the creator of the whole universe cares for me (1 Pet 5:7). He calls me His!
Lord remind me that I don’t need my name in lights, I don’t need others to know my name or want to talk to me or to validate me. I don’t need recognition from others because You see everything I do (Prov 5:21). My identity comes from YOU. I am your special possession (1 Pet 2:9). I am your great treasure. I am your child (Gal 3:26). I am your friend (Joh 15:15). I am perfectly and wonderfully made in your image (Psa 139:14). I have everything I need inside me to accomplish my own special purpose (2 Pet 1:3).
Remind me when I feel ignored or hurt because I’m left out, that You will never leave me or forsake me (Deu 31:6). Nothing and no one can ever separate me from your love for me (Rom 8:38-39).
I have YOU! I don’t need anyone else’s validation because I get my worth and my identity from who YOU say I am.
