The Salvation Prayer

The bible is full of promises for believers. People use the terms believer, saved, and Christian, interchangeably, but what they all mean is that these people have decided to give their lives to Christ.

Being a Christian (or being a believer or being saved) is an act of surrender. We offer our past (what we’ve done), our present (all we are doing), and our future (all we will do) and give them all over to God, who designed us in the first place. To be saved is as easy as A, B, C.

A – Admit you are a sinner. Sin is all the wrong we have done. The bible says we are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God.

B – Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Just like John 3:16 says, God sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins, so we may be saved.

C – Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior….which means, he’s the boss.

The bible says this verse about salvation:

Romans 10:9-10: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Salvation Prayer

Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive your forgiveness. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Help me live my life for you.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
